Leo, trying to get the girls to move in the direction of the Manor, sent an ad for the Manor to Cassandra. Cassandra has the resources to find a place for Phyre, her astranged sister.
Cassandra goes to the Manor to take a look at the property before telling Phyre about it. When Cassie does tell Phyre about it, she relunctantly goes to the Manor herself and sees that there is a lot of space and thinks of Patience and Payton. She also feels a presence that almost makes her want to leave the house. However, the longer she is there, the more she is certain that she needs to live there.
Payton, still trying to find a place herself, manages to find a pay by the week hotel. She feels as if she is in hell because she is used to such a nicer place and much more space. She tries not to let it bother her but she finally realizes that she has to kick the bucket and find a better place, even if it is temporarily, or so she dreams.
Patience knows that she needs to find a place. She bides her time until she knows what is going to happen to "Fire and Ice" and not to mention, her relationship with Leo. She has recieved offers to move to LA but she is drawn to San Francisco.
One day, at Starbucks, they all meet as if by accident. They happen on a conversation about their lack of permanent residence and that is when the Manor is mentioned.
